Thank you John and Sue we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your delightful and well equipped studio apartment. You both made us so welcome and were very helpful letting us stay two more nights when our 2CV broke down, even taking us into Castletownbere to do some grocery shopping!.
We and our two Jack Russells enjoyed two lovely walks up the tiny roads nearby and spending relaxing time sitting down at the shore.
We will recommend it to our friends, especially doggy ones and would love to come back one day!

I really enjoyed staying at John’s and Sue’s studio. It has interesting eclectic decor that is setup to be very comfortable for a stay! I like that the studio is situated in a way that feels private from the main residence. I had the privilege of speaking to John for some time upon checkin. He is very interesting, great knowledge of the area, and has some very interesting stories of his travels. There are so many sights to see in the area, and this place makes a great home base to start your adventures from!.

What a stunning part of the world. We have fallen in love. Thank you Sue and John for having us,
One of the best place I’ve stayed.. beautiful place to visit. John &Sue were always on hand to help us out with advice and even leading us a picnic blanket to use at the beach . The accommodation was amazing with everything and more we could have possibly wanted. Especially enjoyed listening to Alexa playing our favourite radio station as we had breakfast each morning with the amazing views of the seals on the rocks . Definitely need a car to visit all the awesome places. Local town is Castletownbere which had plenty of shops , pubs and restaurants can highly recommended.. losbster pot , Murphy’s restaurant (only open weekends) and local Chinese restaurant. If you’re after a chilled out day and it’s sunny visit Allihies town with its beautiful beach and clear shallow waters .. museum Caffe does beautiful cakes and one of the local pubs O’Neills has amazing amazing food. we will definitely be back to visit more places in the future.

The time to be still and reflective has been wonderful.
That view every morning really charges the batteries.
Had a wonderful week with John & Sue. Lovely apartment will all the home comforts needed for a relaxing holiday.
Access to your own private beach is a special treat.
Castletownbere is a short drive away with some great pubs and restaurants.
